Lloyd Goes To Africa
“Lloyd goes to Africa” is inspired by Lloyd D. Ward, the CEO of Ward Holdings International (WHI). This story is from the perspective of 8-year-old Lloyd and how the seed was planted at an early age to transform the country of Tanzania and eventually the continent of Africa. Lloyd’s epiphany began along the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in Ghana and led to the creation of a global company and Nafsi Za Baadae, which is translated to “Future Souls” in Swahili.
Lloyd and Martin have shared many years of friendship and are business partners as the CEO and CFO of Ward Holdings International.
The vision of Nafsi Za Baadae is to deliver on the promise of tomorrow. Through this non-profit, “Lloyd Goes to Africa” will be a springboard to the financial stability necessary to bring critical amenities revolving around infrastructure, education, and social services to Tanzania, Africa. All proceeds from this book will help deliver on this promise – building health centers and schools, bringing power, water, and digital connection starting in the small villages of Tanzania.
